The Big Show 2021
Very happy to have my work selected again for the Lawndale Art Center, Big Show 2021. This year’s juror was Cecilia Fajardo-Hill, a British/Venezuelan art historian and curator in modern and contemporary art, currently based in Southern California. Fajardo-Hill has a PhD in Art History from the University of Essex, England, and an MA in 20th Century Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, England.

Houston Center for Photograpy
Very happy to have 4 works in the Houston Center for Photography 36th Annual Membership Exhibition, juried by Lisa Volpe - Associate Curator of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. I was one of 3 artists in the show chosen to receive the Beth Block Juried Membership Honoraria and will also be featured in SPOT Magazine. The images are from a new series for me entitled, Teachers of Anatomy. The exhibition runs July 20 - August 26, 2018.

Very happy to be included in the 30th anniversary, Texas Photographic Society Members' Only Show - jurored by Malcolm Daniel, Curator of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas. The opening reception is September 9, 2017, from 6-8:00pm at The Silos at Sawyer Yards in Houston. The exhibition runs through October 15, 2017.

Toby is Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at The Menil Collection and soon to be Director at the Blaffer Art Museum. The public reception and opening for the show will be July 7, 7-9PM. Lawndale Art Center's annual open-call, juried exhibition: The Big Show 2015: July 10 - August 8, 2015; 76 works by 62 artists were selected by juror George Scheer, Executive Director & Co-Founder, Elsewhere, Greensboro, NC, for the exhibition from 972 works submitted by 355 artists. The Big Show is a big deal in the Houston art scene. I was very happy "61st Street Pier" will be in this yea'rs show.
